The Process

THE PROCESS

Whether for a residence or a business, we pride ourselves in working collaboratively with our clients to create artwork that enhances the passions, vision, and story of the space we are creating for.  We collect information, get to know our clients, and then we collaborate and create; blending the styles necessary to create custom artistry for each client, while also staying true to the brand of Bellomo Studios.  At Bellomo Studios, we believe in images that are Meaningful, Memorable, and Masterful that will become part of the story for which they were created.  

Consultation/Planning

Whether it is a residential or commercial project, our approach is similar.  The initial phone conversation is comprised of answering questions, discussing the initial concept and location for the finished artwork (if known), and scheduling an in person consultation.  During the in person consultation we will ask you a series of questions that will help guide us towards the type of images you are looking for and what you would like to have at the end of your experience.  As part of the planning process, we will take pictures of the space(s) the artwork will be displayed.  These will be used later by creating mock-ups prior to the Selection Process.  We will also discuss the various aspects of the Artwork itself, such as, possible locations, subject matter, environmental/lighting factors, and if portraiture is involved, we will discuss wardrobe and makeup.  Depending on the extent of the project, we may create a storyboard which will include all of the key factors and design elements.  We will also narrow in on your involvement level.  Bellomo Studios encourages a collaborative approach in the design and planning phases but we also have clients who prefer to provide little input and give free creative reign to our Master Photographer, Roben Bellomo.  Regardless of the involvement level you choose, we guarantee you will love the final artwork!

Photography Appointment

By the time we arrive on the set of our photography appointment, whether in studio or on location, everyone, including yourself and any other necessary assistants will have an idea of what to expect.  Our sessions could last anywhere from 1 hour to multiple days, depending on the time we determined necessary during our planning session(s).  We will be sure that everyone is comfortable throughout the appointment and experiment with the many ideas we created during our planning sessions while leaving room for spontaneity.  You will be given all necessary direction but not more than is necessary either.  It is always our goal to create natural and sincere images.

Selection 

Whether this is for your home or business, Bellomo Studios will provide a selection of the images captured from the Photography appointment.  These images will have a preliminary edit to help you visualize the final piece(s); however, they will not be in their final state.  We consider these "sketches" at this stage.  Since we begin with the end in mind, we will be able to also provide mock-ups of the artwork in the actual space(s) you plan to hang it.  Our clients find this service invaluable as it takes the guesswork out of size and style selection.  You will be able to see the product mocked up where you plan to hang it to make sure it is just right before your order is finalized and it goes to print.  This visualization process makes you feel confident in your investment.  

Creation and Delivery

Regardless of the medium chosen for the final artwork, Bellomo Studios uses the finest materials on the market.  Most of our artistry pieces are produced in house using a commercial grade printer.  All pieces are then finished and assembled by the hand of the artist.  Where clients select products outside of our studio capability, Bellomo Studios uses the best professional labs in the country.  Upon completion, you will be invited to pick up your completed collection from our studio at a scheduled date where you will sit down with the artist to look over your final pieces, make your final payment, and provided hardware to hang your final artwork.  You will then be assisted in loading your finished artwork.  If you desire installation, Bellomo Studios is happy to work with you and a contractor to arrange installation according to the specifications and look we discussed during the mock up phase.
